Author Michael Ambrosio would
be pleased to visit your school
to present his newest titles:

Visitation
details:(time per assembly
= 35 - 45 minutes) 1. Michael shares: -
reads his picture book to the younger
children -
for the older grades:
uses excerpts from his chapter
books; Destiny,
Valor and a Lizard named Louie,
Attack of the Geckos
-
basics of creating a story,
(roller-coaster story model) -
leads students in a group exercise
of creating their own story
- answers questions about writing
and the process of creating
a book
Michael
conducts a highly interactive
presentation for the students.
He tailors his presentations
depending on the grade level
of the particular assembly.
It is the intention of Michael to inspire the students
to try their own hand at writing
and hopefully
plant the seeds for the next
generation of authors.
Author
bio: Michael Ambrosio
started his writing adventure
in 2002 with a series of picture
books and
has since added the Destiny
chapter book series in 2004.
His writing style mixes humor
and adventure while leaving
the reader with a strong sense
of hope.
Michael has also
been published in Chicken
Soup for the Soul, Insight Magazine
and other regional publications.
Michael lives in El
Dorado Hills,
California with his wife and
six children and holds degrees
from the University of California
at Los Angeles and the
University of California at
Irvine.
Pricing: Michael
can visit your school to conduct
several assemblies or several
classroom visits. Autographed
books will be available for
sale, with a special school discount. Full day: Local
to Sacramento area - $800 Outside
of Sacramento area - $1000 plus travel
expenses.
